Vitamin A helps the eyes to have a good sight during night and also establishes colorful vision too. It helps the body to fight infections and maintain a proper immune system. The food sources rich in Vitamin A are milk, eggs, liver, spinach, orange and yellow fruits and vegetables such as carrots, sweet potatoes.

Vitamin C helps in maintaining a good shape of the body tissues like muscles and gums. Foods rich in Vitamin C are fruits especially citrus fruits and vegetables.

Vitamin B is classified into 12 vitamins. Vitamin B helps in making red blood cells and carries out oxygen throughout the body. This vitamin is also essential for metabolic activity, which means they help to make energy and set it free in the body and use when needed. Food sources for this vitamin include wholegrain foods, vegetables, nuts, cereals, fruits, animal foods like meat, fish, chicken, etc.

Vitamin D keeps bone strong and healthy. Rich food sources are milk, fish, liver oils, egg yolk and exposure to sunlight.

Vitamin E protects the body’s cells and tissues from damage. Food sources include nuts, green leafy vegetables, whole grains such as wheat and oats.

Vitamin K helps in blood clotting when you face any cuts. Food sources include diary products like milk and yogurt, soybean oil, green leafy vegetables.

The body needs tiny amount of vitamins and it can be obtained by taking a proper and healthy diet daily with a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables and other products.
