Yoga – A Natural Way to reduce Your Belly Fat

Many people think that yoga is not a proper remedy for reduction of belly fat. But it is a wrong belief. The physical postures involved in yoga not only increase the pressure on the muscles, but also relieve us from mental tensions. Hence, the improvement in the spiritual and the emotional balance effectively helps in reducing the stress, which is the main cause for abdominal fat. By balancing both physical and mental entities, yoga is a better way of treating the belly fat.

However, there are few poses which are meant particularly for reducing the belly fat. Let us see what they are and how they are useful.

Cobra pose: This pose is the most basic and a good functional form of yoga. This is used mainly for reducing the fat accumulated at the stomach portion. Compared to the other intense exercises which are used to reduce belly fat, this is the easiest and the best way to get rid of bad cholesterol. Moreover, this posture also strengthens the abdominal muscles and reduces problems like gas, constipation and so on. In case of women it helps in toning the ovaries, uterus, and also relieves menstrual irregularities. However, this pose is not recommended for the people suffering from hernia, hyperthyroid, peptic ulcer and during pregnancy.

Cat cow pose: This is the next best effective pose for reducing belly fat. The interesting thing is even pregnant women can perform this pose. This is best suitable for the beginners and makes them feel better at the initial stages of yogic exercises. It also conditions the abdominal muscles and increases the flexibility of the spine. Moreover, it is quite helpful in toning the abdominal walls and also massages the internal organs.

These are the two basic poses which are used to reduce belly pose, however, they are found affective only with regular practice and by following proper procedures and good diet.
