  • Proper nutrition on a trip is also important for pregnant women. Women who are pregnant also need to eat more often than others, so carry snacks with you, especially if you are in the first trimester.
  • It is also important to consider the timing of the vacation, many women find their second trimester the ideal time to travel.
  • If you are traveling abroad you have to check the airline’s policy regarding pregnant women because some airlines do not allow women who are beyond 36 weeks to fly.
  • You need to keep your blood pressure and blood sugar levels at a certain level during pregnancy. To do this make frequent stops to get out of the car and walk around a little.
