Marijuana is the most abused illegal drug in U.S as well as all over the world. Marijuana contains more than 400 dangerous chemicals. One of the main chemicals is Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). Many people do not know that marijuana is a very harmful drug. There are many adverse effects of Marijuana, both physical and psychological. If you take marijuana there is a possibility of your liver getting damaged. People who are suffering from hepatitis C are advised not to take Marijuana as it acts as an inflammatory substance on liver. If hepatitis C patients take this marijuana in regular basis then there is higher risk of liver fibrosis, or scarring of the liver tissue.

Liver damage and also hepatoxic effects like cirrhosis are caused by chronic use of marijuana. There are adverse effects like stomach pain, dark urine, vomiting, liver function abnormalities, acute hepatitis. And it reduces the ability of immune system that protects the human body from infections and diseases. Marijuana use causes hepatomegaly or an enlarged liver.

Not only this, there are so many side effects of Marijuana abuse like dry mouth, trouble sleeping, severe allergic reactions, fainting, unusual bleeding, fatigue, it damages the function of lungs, and it causes heart attacks, it can lead the cancer in the long run.

Using marijuana causes many problems, it hurts the school and job performance, it makes you less interested in activities, it may hurt the relationships with friends, family members, and colleagues. And it causes financial problems and as well as criminal problems. So it is better to avoid Marijuana.
